It is free and romantic, full of romance, and dense and misty poetry. It can neutralize the handsome of trousers, add a bit of luxuriant to skirt outfit again, the round collar design of the plain is not too grandilocible and unearth spirit, with life more close. Message déposé le 27.04.2018 à 10:50 - Commentaires (0)Growing up, I studied in the US, Saudi Arabia and Argentina, before returning to California to obtain my undergraduate degree in psychology. I feel very fortunate to come from such a diverse heritage. I began traveling at an early age, which is probably why I love exploring, learning and being constantly on the move. Through my travels, I learned that each country is culturally unique. Its people, their traditions, food and the arts constantly impact my growth and development. Who am I? I am a product of all the international experiences and exposure I have gained through the years. With every country I visited, I realized what a powerful and humbling experience each was, and how they helped mold and develop me as a person. The more I traveled, the more I wanted to give back. It was no longer enough for me to simply explore different cultures. I wanted to understand them and contribute what I could back to society as a favor returned. It was with this in mind that my fashion line Badawiah was born.Read more at:(cliquez ici pour suivre le lien) | (cliquez ici pour suivre le lien) The concept of bridesmaid dresses. Before taking a look back at the lumpy, misshapen beast that is the current state of Los Angeles Fashion Week (which we hope to do in an upcoming post), we wanted to highlight two of the brands showing last Thursday night as part of the Style Fashion Week lineup. The first was Clubwear, a year-old Reno, Nev.-based line, the conceit of which, according to its Facebook page, is the ability to go from playing golf to partying down “with just a change of shoe.” Designer Christine Hilts’ spring 2016 collection consisted of a series of traditional women’s golfing and tennis silhouettes -- short dresses, track jackets, skirts, shorts, cropped trousers -- rendered in shimmery, stretchy black fabric and what looked like gold Lurex, with metallic accents that included a bold golden paisley print on a black tennis skirt. In theory, a line of smart-looking separates designed to ease the transition from country club to nightclub sounds like a good idea -- especially given the popularity of the whole athleisure trend -- but how many ladies are going to simply come off the links, swap out the golf bag for a handbag and head out for the evening? (Not to mention what it might feel like to wear a black and gold metallic outfit while playing 18 holes of golf on a bright, sunny day.) More realistically, Clubwear’s spring 2016 collection is for the woman who wants to spend a night on the town looking like she could have spent a day on the links (or is headed out to the course tomorrow), and by that measure Hilts gets it pretty close to the tee. Another label that came down the catwalk last Thursday night was Anjé, a New York-based line designed by Angela Brasington. A study in stripped-back chic, the spring 2016 collection included a range of simple and straightforward dresses, skirts and tops grounded in a palette of black, white and gray. Standouts included effortless looking button-front shirtdresses with asymmetrical hems, a wrap in a hound’s-tooth check pattern and a series of simple black cocktail dresses, some with sheer panel or cutout details. We had a chance to chat briefly with Brasington backstage after the show and she said her 1 1/2-year-old fledgling line was a result of her own experiences. “I worked my way up in this business over the last decade,” she told us, “And one of the things I noticed was that clothes just weren’t as comfortable as they could be.” By way of illustration, Brasington picked up the hem of her own dress, turned it over and ran her hand along the backside of the fabric. “So for some of the dresses I’ve actually turned it so the smoother side is against the skin. … I wanted to create something that catered to the workaholic woman -- something that was chic, sophisticated and sexy and that a woman could be comfortable going out for a drink after work.” From where we sat, that pretty much makes Brasington’s spring 2016 collection a flag-rattling hole-in-one. Miss Grace unveils an innovative sweatshirts range Winter wear brand Miss Grace, launched in 1980 in Ludhiana has launched a wide range of sweatshirts for the winter consisting of basics to prints, checks to jacquards, waist length to knee length in coat style with various appliqués in woollen and acrylic blends. Innovations in sweatshirts Elaborating on the new sweatshirts range Nikhil Jain, Director, Miss Grace says, “We started using quilts and prints from the last year and this year too, we have introduced them. Wool is the new addition. Leather in all kinds - plain, textured, embossed and printed especially with the tribal and animal prints is in vogue. Mix and match of various fashion elements is the key driver.” The range boasts of brighter prints in hues of yellow, mustard or peach. Digital and sublimation has given a new dimension to it. “The consumer liking has shifted from basics to something more casual or formal one,” exclaims Jain, adding, “Simple stripers or basic round necks with chest prints don’t appeal them anymore. Various woven fabrics have been added to give a mix look of a jacket and a sweat shirt.” The brand’s portfolio consists of sweatshirts, jackets, T-shirts, blazers and coats. Sweatshirts emerge as strong winter product Apart from its versatile nature from the users’ point of view sweatshirts are a value for money products in terms of price and maintenance. “Winters these days are not that harsh and for the mild winter season sweatshirts serve the purpose. Moreover the jackets cost a bit higher compared to sweatshirts. Sweatshirts are easy on the pocket and can be used across the winter season and they are more durable and comfortable than jackets,” says Jain talking about the USP and strong emergence of sweatshirts category. A mix of sweatshirts and jackets, also called as ‘swajackets’ are quite popular these days. Most of the patterns offered by Miss Grace fall under swajackets - providing comfort of a sweatshirt and warmth of a jacket, at half the price. “Sweat shirt is like getting a jacket at the price of a sweater with various fabric and colour options. The mix and match and value additions in terms of Swarovski work or a bit of embroidery and experimentation with new fabrics give us an edge over the others,” avers Jain. short one shoulder bridesmaid dresses Lupita Nyong'o: Skincare's my saviour Lupita Nyong'o tends to listen to what her skin needs when it comes to her beauty regime. Lupita Nyong'o believes looking good is all down to a proper skincare regime. The 32-year-old actress shot to international recognition when she starred in 2013's 12 Years a Slave, with her performance winning her the best supporting actress Oscar. During the 2013/14 awards season she was renowned for her bold choices on the red carpet, but it's not make-up or clothes that gives her confidence. "I'm a great believer in the idea that looking good is all about getting the basics in place with proper skincare," she told Britain's Boots Health & Beauty magazine. "I wash my face every morning and evening, which goes a long way to keeping it at its best. I try to 'listen' to what my complexion needs: if it's greasy, I'll use a foamy cleanser; when it's dry, I'll go with a creamier formula." She may care for her complexion carefully these days, but it hasn't always been that way. At one point the Mexican-Kenyan actress didn't bother with suntan lotion as she didn't feel it was necessary. "I stubbornly thought the sunshine couldn't harm me - until I got burned," she cringed. "It's often harder for black women to realise when they've had too much sun. Now, I always protect my skin with SPF." That's not to say Lupita has no interest in cosmetics. She's the face of Lancôme and does enjoy enhancing her features now and then, explaining that day-to-day she goes for a bit of eyebrow colour, mascara and lip-gloss. "Lipstick helps pull an outfit together and instantly makes you feel dressed up," she said of her evening look. "I prefer burgundy and earthy tones, which flatter my skin, but I also play with bright reds for film premieres. My relationship with make-up is similar to my attitude to food: I like to experiment to match my mood." Michelle Keegan wants new Lipsy line to make women feel confident Michelle Keegan is confident her new autumn/winter collection for Lipsy will make women feel sexy and ''comfortable'' even on those ''bloated days'' due to the strategic detailing she's included on her designs. The 28-year-old actress - whose autumn/winter collection goes on sale on Thursday (10.09.15) - says her main objective when she's designing pieces for the fashion brand is to create clothes that will make ladies feel ''comfortable.'' Speaking to the Daily Mail's FEMAIL, she said: ''No matter what anyone wears, as long as they feel comfortable and confident, it shows. That's when fashion is at its best. ''My best-selling garments always have strategically placed lace, ripples across the stomach and things like that. Touches that help during those bloated days.'' The former 'Coronation Street' star says her new range will be packed with stunning evening looks, sophisticated day time items and every day pieces to last the whole season. She explained: ''You're going to see a lot more darker, warmer colours like blacks and greys for winter. ''In this one we've gone for dressy-dresses that you can wear to Christmas parties or dinner dates and we've got really cool knits for the cold weather.'' Although she designs the collection on her own, the brunette beauty says her new husband Mark Wright, whom she tied the knot with in May, checks out the range afterwards. She said: ''I design the collection on my own but he comes and sees it once it's all done.'' |
