Here's all the information you need to know for our Franco-Scottish wedding.

Again, for all you Scots and Irish there are a few possibilities;
Summary - Saint Antheme is situated in the Departement Puy-de-Dome which is in the Region of Auvergne. The area is very rural and therefore has no bus services or taxis and the nearest train station is in Montbrison (a 30mins drive from Saint Antheme).
- Easyjet fly direct from Edinburgh to Lyon but only on Wed and Sat (Sat flight arrives too late for wedding) which means a week in France (Wed til Wed) if you fancy making it a summer holiday.
- Easyjet also fly from Glasgow to Paris (Charles de Gaulle) once every day except Tuesdays. From there take a TGV which depart from the airport station to Lyon, this takes about 2hrs. Then a regional train through Saint Etienne to Montbrison.
- Aer Lingus fly direct to Lyon from Dublin every Mon, Wed, Fri and Sun. Then a regional train through Saint Etienne to Montbrison.
- Or, obviously if you're up for a road trip........any combinations of ferries you can imagine!
Regional Trains run frequently from Lyon to Montbrison (one change necessary) although not at night so check the link below.
On arrival in Montbrison we would be happy to arrange transport to Saint Antheme, although not the day of the wedding........obviously. Or, consider hiring a car from an airport if you are part of a group.

Pour ceux qui viennent de loin et/ou qui ont l'intention de lever le coude (enfin, les Ecossais et les Irlandais, quoi) et qui voudraient dormir sur place, plusieurs solutions s'offrent à vous:
- planter la tente au Camping de Saint Anthème. Au bord du plan d'eau, c'est à 5 min à pied du lieu de la réception.
- dormir à l'hôtel. Il y en a 2 dans le village: l'Hôtel de Voyageurs, et le Continental.
- louer un gîte dans les environs et profiter de l'occasion pour passer des vacances en Auvergne! (Et recruter un chauffeur pour le soir du mariage)
Le site de l'office du tourisme de la vallée de l'Ance donne plein d'adresses possibles dans le coin (voir ci-dessous)
For the Scots and Irish who need accomodation nearby, here are the possibilities:
-the campsite 'Camping le Rambaud', which is located by the lake 5min walk from the village.
-2 hotels: L'Hôtel des Voyageurs and Le Continental.
-gîtes and B&Bs in the area, if you have a designated driver!
